Shipping for NZ customers is divided into two categories, products containing a battery and products that do not contain a battery. Products containing a battery, are shipped from our 3PL warehouse in Auckland. Other products will be shipped from our Australian warehouse. If your order includes items that are shipped from both warehouses you may receive multiple tracking numbers.

Products shipped from the NZ warehouse are:

Urban Series V3, Street Series V3, Pro Series V3, Sport Series V3, AT Series V3 and Spare replacement batteries

Please allow up to 48 hours for in-stock products to be shipped. This may vary during holiday periods however the Black Hawk team work very hard to ensure orders are shipped ASAP. 

Please check our opening hours in your time zone on our website and allow for some delays if ordering over a public holiday period.

Shipping Times for Items Shipped from Auckland

Shipping times to metro areas take 2-3 business days and 4-5 days to rural areas These timeframes are provided as an estimate and may not be reflective of the delivery ETA to your location specifically.

Delivery can only be made to physical street addresses, no PO boxes. Please make sure the address on the delivery address is correct. It is important that the suburb is correct and matches the postcode. Our products can be delivered to a home or work address. Couriers require a signature upon delivery. Anyone at the designated premises can sign for the product.

Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm. If you are not home when the courier attempts delivery, they will leave a card with the details of the local depot for collection.

Shipping Times for Items Shipped from Australia

Shipping times to metro areas generally take 4-8 business days and 5-14 days to rural areas. These timeframes are provided as an estimate and may not be reflective of the delivery ETA to your location specifically. The Australia Post service is a standard service, and delivery times depend on your location. You can get the estimated shipping times for delivery to your postcode on the Australia Post website.

Your tracking number will be sent to you in an automatic email as soon as our courier manifests the information. Remember to check your spam/junk inbox if you think you haven't received it. 

Our online store processes payments through PayPal and/or Shopify Payments. These methods accept all credit cards, debit cards and linked bank accounts (PayPal). 

Yes! We also offer purchases paid through AfterPay and Zip.

Your warranty period is 12 months from the date you purchase.

It can be a great idea to check your email spam folder or filter folders for a reply from our team. Some email service providers like Gmail have aggressive email filters that can miss-interpret our support's email address and place the email in spam or a filter folder such as 'promotions'. 

If one of our emails is placed in spam by your email provider, be sure to mark our emails as "not spam" so that you receive all communications from us as they come through. 

If one of our emails has spent a long time in your spam folder, it may have been deleted automatically by your email provider. In this case, you may need to contact us again and keep an eye out for a reply.

We recommend our electric skateboards to customers who are both beginners and also experienced. Our boards and their remote controls are very intuitive to ride. After a short time riding around you will find yourself feeling very confident. 

Our user manual goes into detail about our riding recommendations including: riding style, controlling accelerating/decelerating and keeping your balance. 

Hub-drive boards boast a whole host of benefits over older belt-drive boards, however, changing the wheel diameter would have a drastic effect on the overall performance of the board. Additionally, running larger wheels would likely require a larger set of trucks, a different ESC controller and a slightly different shaped deck. 

As such, the board in its standard configuration represents the best package and riding experience as produced from the factory.

The majority of our boards are designed for recreational use on smooth riding surfaces. For example, sealed roads and concrete pathways.

Usage on grass or dirt roads will likely have a negative effect on the boards operation , increase mainenance requirements and  decrease performance.

For usage on short grass and compacted dirt, we recommend the AT Series V3 from our product line. 

Currently, we do not rate any of our boards to be water-resistant or waterproof. Riding in wet conditions is very dangerous due to slippery surfaces and can put stress on the wheel bearings and motors, not to mention you get wet and dirty when riding. 

It is well known that electricity and water do not work well together, so we recommend avoiding wet conditions where possible, not only can it be dangerous, but it can also have an effect on the boards functions as well as the warranty.

With that being said, with every new production of boards, we endeavour to improve the board in multiple ways including water resistance.
